2. What Yaafta Is

Yaafta helps you find restaurants and cafes in Karachi, see what other diners think, and decide whether a place is worth visiting. The site includes restaurant listings, ratings, reviews, guides and other informational content. We provide it for general information only.

3. Using the Website

You agree to use Yaafta only for lawful purposes and in a way that doesn't harm the site, other users or restaurants. You must not:

Try to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or other people's accounts
Introduce viruses, malicious code or anything that disrupts the site
Scrape, copy or republish large parts of the site without our written permission
Use automated tools to submit ratings, reviews or form entries

4. Accounts

You can browse Yaafta without an account. To write a review, you need to sign in. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Keep your sign-in details secure and don't let anyone else use your account. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.

5. Ratings and Reviews

The Yaafta Score for a restaurant is the average of the slider ratings (Value, Hype and Recommend) submitted by users. It is not copied from Google or any other platform.

When you rate or review a restaurant, you agree that:

It is based on your own, genuine visit and experience
You haven't been paid, or offered a free meal, discount or any other benefit in return for it, and you aren't connected to the restaurant (as an owner, employee or competitor) in a way that would make it biased
It doesn't contain false statements, hate speech, threats, personal attacks, private information about others, spam or advertising
It doesn't break any law or anyone's rights
You won't post more than one rating or review for the same restaurant to influence its score

Reviews are the reviewer's own words and opinions. They do not represent the views of Yaafta. Restaurants cannot edit, rewrite or remove reviews. We may remove or hide any rating or review that breaks these Terms, or that we reasonably believe is fake, abusive or unlawful.

Signing in helps connect each review to an account, but it doesn't guarantee that any opinion is accurate.

6. Your Content

You keep ownership of what you submit. By posting a rating, review or other content on Yaafta, you give us a free, non-exclusive right to display, store, adapt and distribute it on Yaafta and in connection with promoting the site. We may show your content for as long as it remains on the site. You can ask us to remove your content by contacting us.

7. Independence and Paid Placements

For now, no restaurant pays Yaafta for reviews. Paid placements accepted to date: 0. Restaurants can't buy a better score or edit reviews.

If we ever offer paid features, such as a labelled "Featured" tag, we will clearly mark them as paid. A paid feature will never change a Yaafta Score, a rating or a review. We will update this page and the About page if that happens.

Yaafta also shows advertising from third-party advertising networks. These ads are separate from our ratings and reviews, and showing an ad is not an endorsement of the advertised business.

8. Content Accuracy

We work to keep listings accurate and up to date, but restaurant details such as menus, prices, opening hours, addresses and availability can change without notice. We don't guarantee that anything on the site is complete, current or error-free. Please confirm important details directly with the restaurant before you visit. If you spot a mistake, tell us and we'll look into it.

Where a page shows a rating from Google, it comes from Google and isn't part of the Yaafta Score.

9. Intellectual Property

The Yaafta name, logo, design, text, guides and other original content belong to Yaafta unless stated otherwise. Restaurant names, logos, menus and photos belong to their respective owners. You may view and share links to our pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce or republish our content without our written permission.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

Yaafta may link to other websites, such as restaurant social media pages, maps and delivery platforms, and uses third-party services such as sign-in, analytics and advertising. We don't control these and aren't responsible for their content, policies or practices.

11. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Yaafta is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise the site will always be available or free of errors. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Yaafta is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, including from relying on listings, ratings, reviews or guides, or from your dealings with any restaurant. Any visit, meal or purchase is a matter between you and the restaurant.

12. Suspension and Termination

We may remove content, or suspend or end access to the site or to an account, if we believe you have broken these Terms or are harming the site or other users. You can stop using Yaafta at any time.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. Continuing to use Yaafta after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
